In social anxiety, chemical or conditioning? ?
I think I have many symptoms of social anxiety but I do not know how I got it, or how to deal with it. I have 22 years, but I've had since I was 10. I am very tense when I'm with other people, especially people who do not know, and that makes me silly or clumsy. In particular I hate doing things with my hands in front of people. I'm worried about asking for help, however. One of them, I have heard of social anxiety is something that primarily affects women, so only have trouble following through. In addition, I've been at home and isolated as a child, then perhaps there is nothing really wrong with me. What kind of things I can do to reduce social anxiety? Let me be around people is useless because I feel tense, my vision close, and if I have things and calling things and can do things with my hands, that makes me feel even more uncomfortable and worse next time.
The cause of anxiety social can be debated, but is often either biological, environmental, or the result of a combination of two (often is the third reason is the most active). social anxiety tend to run in families and those who have parents with social anxiety are more likely to have. The biological component of social anxiety, is derived from (I think … But the approach Green was not my strong point in the psycho!): One of the neurotransmitter GABA, which explains why people living with the payment of social anxiety benzodiazepines (Diazepam, Klonopin, etc), and that bind to receptors. Another component of social anxiety environmental aspect … because they are educated at home, could not have been so many opportunities socialize with other children at a younger age, when no "were in his head." As a young adult, you think more about their actions and do less and therefore, a kind of trip yourself. An exercise that helps me (because I, too, social anxiety) is to remain focused on the here and now. Studies have shown that People with anxiety tend to think of the future and the past more often than the norm here and now. Psychologists believe that this constant concern for the future and the past creates anxiety, because the flash do something about the past and who knows what will in the future. This lack of control creates anxiety, whether or not the individual recognizes that the power social anxiety. Maybe you could try to get out and socialize more. Remember, people can not see what you think and your thoughts are not as transparent as you can imagine. Most people are so trapped in their own behaviors that others pay little attention. Many people are tripping over his own thoughts and can not leave of their own … make a conscious effort to focus on the here and now "and not try to project thoughts into the future or the past. Remember that people can feel as your way of being, and just follow their example. It is possible that, as experiments to build, the process comes more naturally and you think less and do more! =) PS: They also recommend talking to a counselor or therapist or psychologist. Sometimes it's good to talk, and counselors know a lot of techniques to help you relax! =) If cost is a problem (ie, lack of health insurance), many countries have facilities for mental health community you will pay on a sliding scale depending on their salary.
