I am one with separation anxiety?

So I know that animals can have separation anxiety, but I think I or my dog. I just got it this week and I feel so sad when I go to work. All I can do is look at his pictures. I know that is based on a house with my fiencee but still killing me being away from him. Anyone else experience this? Is it getting easier? What I can do?
