My almost 4 years have problems with anxiety (I think)?

My son will be July 4, 2008. It's a wonderful boy, very tall and very imaginative intelligent. It amazes how much preschool teachers know and can do about other children. In almost every way, is the perfect child. At school, has problems. Often that separates this class is hidden under a table in another class (older children), or crying, and putting her hand over her mouth. We have a social worker that shows when in class. She is there for him. This also occurs in restaurants, parties and other places with great people. He plays with other children when only one or two, but not when there is a group of children around. Please talk to your pediatrician about it. My daughter has Anxiety Problems, sensory integrative disorder, and Asperger's just great for some children.
