HELP! Carnegie Mellon University: Good for students who have absolutely no interest in computers and technology?!
This kills me, because I live in Los Angeles and have been accepted at UCLA. However, I really want to try something different on the other hand, and Carnegie is the only school far enough the home that I could consider participating. However, I want to major in history and become a lawyer, and I have no interest and the general lack Computer knowledge / science / mathematics. What stresses me out because I believe it is Carnegie Mellon University in interdisciplinary, requiring students to take courses such as statistics, etc. Think Carnegie College for me? Will I be unhappy there? Can the humanities and social science courses at the University Carnegie Mellon help me please?!?!
Yes, the CMU is good for those who do not like the CS. All universities that stand out will tend to have good programs in all areas that offer. Some universities do not offer more to Caltech, but I think that CMU is a good choice! UCLA is not bad, but be nice and everything declaration on the waiting list, you may want to go to UCLA, because they are tired of South East and the North / Midwest … sick in the West … LOL whatever, what he wants. If you lived in Cali all his life, while winters are very different. actually snowing … real snow, not 2 inches in January on the edge County of Los Angeles. Choose what you like, if you honestly think you will be unhappy at CMU … no … but the programs are as good as UCLA …
